Alyeska offers a mountain experience for all levels of skiers and
riders. Intermediate and advanced skiers will love the wide open bowls
and long top to bottom runs while tree-lined groomed runs are ideal for

The Hotel Alyeska
The Hotel Alyeska first opened its doors to guests in 1994. Today, the
chateau-style hotel - set in a lush valley surrounded by mountain peaks,
hanging glaciers and ocean views – makes for the perfect base camp
during your Alaskan vacation.
In 2007, The Hotel Alyeska underwent a comprehensive renovation
resulting in a multi-million dollar investment. The improvements
included upgrades in all 304 guest rooms with plush new carpets, Serta®
Presidential Pillow Top Mattresses, luxurious interior décor, as well as
complimentary high-speed internet access in all guest rooms and wi-fi
access in all public areas on the second and third floors. The Hotel
Alyeska offers complimentary guest use of the saltwater pool and
whirlpool with mountain views. The indoor heated 25 x 45 foot lap pool
has vaulted wood beam ceilings. The 16-person whirlpool features bay
windows and overlooks the pond and the north face of Mt. Alyeska. There
is also a traditional sauna. Stay with your fitness regimen when you
travel by taking advantage of The Hotel Alyeska's Fitness Center. The
Fitness Center is complimentary for registered hotel guests during their
stay.
The Fitness Center was recently upgraded including the installation of
five new pieces of cardio equipment, dedicated free weights room, and a
stretcher. The Fitness Center includes elliptical machines, stair
climbers, treadmill, stationary bikes and other cardiovascular and
aerobic equipment, plus weights and mats.
