Québec is truly a unique land in North America. Unique for its geography, its history and its culture, which together have forged its bold and exuberant identity. Simply put, Québec is warmth, absolute authenticity and intensity, all within easy reach on the east coast of Canada.
Deeply rooted in the soil of North America and fiercely proud of its French heritage, Québec is a delightful blend of the Old and New World. Its enthusiastic and friendly people are known for their passion, spontaneity and unique joie de vivre.
With its entire southern portion dissected by the St. Lawrence, one of the largest rivers in the world, Québec is graced with an incredible variety of landscapes: a fertile fluvial plain between the Canadian Shield to the north and the Appalachian Mountains to the south, wide swaths of forest, taiga and tundra, all of which share over a million lakes and thousands of rivers.

Yes, Québec has everything a snowboarder could dream of! Stimulating challenges await you at ski stations throughout the Laurentian and Appalachian mountains. The season is long (from late November to late April, sometimes stretching into May), there's plenty of natural snow, the view leaves you breathless and the après-ski is not to be missed! You can snowboard on every slope at the ski stations, most of which are conveniently located near major cities in the Laurentides, Eastern Townships, Québec City and Charlevoix regions.
